Riding Members

~ You do not need experience with horses to be a riding member.

~ The horse, helmets, and tack are supplied for you. Show clothes are often shared among members.

~ Membership Requirements:
- One fundraiser per semester
- Must attend one entire show, but not required to show
- Attend social and educational events

~ Benefits of Riding Membership:
- Weekly lessons
- Opportunity to compete in the IHSA against schools such as:
Purdue, IU, University of Illinois, St. Mary of the Woods, IUPUI,
Butler, Taylor, and more...
- The opportunity to learn about horses and improve your
riding ability.
- Meet lifelong friends who enjoy horses as much as you.

~ Fees for Riding Members

- Lesson Fees:
- Hunt Seat
$275/semster for one lesson a week
(10 weeks)
$350/semester for two lessons a week


- Western
$275/semester for one lesson a week
(10 weeks)
$350/semester for two lessons a week


- Both
$450/semester for one lesson a week in each
$600/semester for two lesson a week in each


~ Team Dues:
$25 a year

~ Insurance Fee:
Approximately $40 a year
(this price fluctuates each year)


~ Show Fees:
IHSA Membership $30 for one discipline and $40 for two disciplines. Show entry fees are $25 per class.

Non- Riding Members

~ Membership Requirements:
- One Fundraiser a semester
- Must attend one entire show to watch and help

~ Benefits of Non-Riding Members
- The opportunity to to learn about horses without the added
cost of riding.
- Meet new people and make new friends.

~ Team Dues:
$25 a year
